The Samsung Galaxy A52s is a plastic chassis with a thickness of 8.4mm and a weight of 189g. Depending on your preference you can choose from Black, White, Mint, and Violet, with its 6.5-inch display. Furthermore, it is waterproof and dust-resistant with IP67. Its sleek design is highly appreciated by users, but some of them say that it is less durable if compared to the Galaxy S21.

Galaxy A52s Display

The Galaxy A52s screen is a 6.5-inch Super AMOLED one with 2400 x 1080 resolution at 405 PPI and 800 nits brightness. Moreover, it is a 120Hz refresh rate and Gorilla Glass 5 protected piece of hardware. The great smoothness of its pictures is what most if not all the users have in mind but they reckon that the brightness is not in the same level as that of the Galaxy S21.

Performance and Software

For the Galaxy A52s processor chip, the Snapdragon 778G (octa-core, 2.4GHz, 6nm), 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage options are used. It can be updated from Android 11 to One UI 3.1 to Android 14 (the latter is not yet officially confirmed). Also, Samsung Pay and Knox are the features it carries. Users, on the whole, appreciate it as an agile middleman for a few tasks but at the same time, they concede that it is not as speedy as the Galaxy S21.

Pricing and Availability

In September 3, 2021, the Galaxy A52s was launched by Samsung and authorized retailers with a price of $349.99 for a 6GB/128GB setup. The higher storage variant, which is 8GB/256GB, costs $449.99. Units that have been declared obsolete in 2022 can be refurbished and sold at around $140–$240. The device is highly favored in the market due to its outstanding mid-range performance; however, the product is on a real disadvantage when it comes to the top-of-the-line features of the Galaxy S series.
