The Huawei Honor 10 Lite, a trendy budget smartphone, is made of glossy plastic that is 8mm thick and weighs 162g. The 6.21-inch display with a dewdrop notch in Sky Blue, Sapphire Blue, and Midnight Black colors is targeted at younger users. The rear fingerprint sensor makes it more convenient, but it does not have water resistance. Its vibrant gradient finish makes it different, although it’s less premium than the Honor 10.

Display

The Honor 10 Lite comes with a 6.21-inch IPS LCD panel that has a 2340 x 1080 resolution, resulting in 415 PPI for sharp visuals. With ~450 nits brightness, it is perfect for streaming and browsing. The 60Hz refresh rate is quite standard for budget devices; however, it does not have the AMOLED vibrancy of the Huawei P30. Those who use it admit that its big, colorful screen is excellent for media consumption.

Performance and Software

Powered by the Kirin 710 (octa-core, 2.2GHz, 12nm), the Honor 10 Lite offers 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM and 64GB/128GB storage, expandable via microSD. Running Android 9 with EMUI 9.1, it delivers smooth performance for daily tasks and light gaming, matching the P30 Lite. Geekbench 5 scores are ~340 (Single-Core) and ~1350 (Multi-Core).

Pricing and Availability

In November 2018 the Honor 10 Lite for the 3GB/64GB variant was priced at approximately $200 and it was a popular budget option among the Honor brand and retailers. The phone was discontinued in 2020. Now, second-hand models go for $80 to $150, which is a great offer for those who are looking for a stylish, budget smartphone but it is not compatible with 5G.
