Connectivity

The Envy 16 is backwards compatible with Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax), BT 5.3, and does not offer cellular. It comes with a 5MP camera with IR (infrared) and four speakers. The Wi-Fi signal is powerful but users will eventually be unimpressed, as it follows Spectre x360 that has a 5G option. Soundwise, the users love the audio quality but they also realize that 5G is missing.

Pricing and Availability

Envy 16 was first introduced to the market at a price of $1,649 (2.8K OLED, Ultra, 7, RTX 4060, 16GB, 1TB) by HP and retailers in May 2024. Higher configurations are also available for the device with a tag of $2,099 (Ultra 9, 32GB, 2TB). This is an ongoing promotion. Despite the high cost, users believe it is more powerful when compared to Pavilion Plus 14.
