The iPad Pro 11” 4th Gen (2022) is a tablet that comes with a premium finish, it has an aluminum chassis that is extremely well designed and is a 5.9mm thick and of 466g weight (the Wi-Fi model). The device comes in Silver and Space Gray, colors that are particularly appealing to creatives and professionals and it comprises an 11-inch display. Water/dust resistance (not IP-rated) due to Face ID and a USB-C port enabling Thunderbolt/USB 4 gives us confidence in the build quality of the device. Users love the fact that it is extremely portable. However, a few people mentioned that it has a slightly heavier weight than the iPad Air.

Thanks to the 120Hz ProMotion refresh rate, True Tone, and P3 wide color, it is capable of providing a much more flowing and brilliant display. It is a great feature supporting the most advanced technologies in the current video editing and gaming worlds. With scratch-resistant glass and an anti-reflective layer, it beats the iPad Pro 3rd Gen in terms of smoothness, yet, it is still missing mini-LED.

Powered by the Apple M2 chip (octa-core CPU, 10-core GPU, 16-core Neural Engine), the iPad Pro 11” 4th Gen offers 8GB/16GB RAM and 128GB to 2TB storage. Running iPadOS 16 (upgradable to iPadOS 18), it supports Stage Manager and Apple Pencil 2 hover features, excelling in multitasking, 3D rendering, and AR apps. It significantly outperforms the 3rd Gen’s M1 chip, with Geekbench 5 scores of ~1900 (Single-Core) and ~8500 (Multi-Core).

Pricing and Availability

At the price of $799 (128GB, Wi-Fi), the iPad Pro 11” 4th Gen was released in October 2022 and people can get to it from Apple's online store, authorized retailers, and carriers, the Wi-Fi + Cellular models are priced from $999. Storage options up to 2TB are available at $2199. Though now the tablet is sold with a slight price of $600–$1500, it is still faster than the other choices for the job due to the strong 5G support and high performance.
