The iPhone 11 Pro Max is designed with a stainless steel and glass chassis and the dimensions are 8.1mm thick and a mass 226g. Furthermore, it is lengthened by an introduction in colors such as Space Gray, Silver, Gold, and Midnight Green and there is a 6.5-inch display. In addition to its originally known waterproof and pollution-resistant features, the phone can withstand water of 4 meters for 30 minutes. Those who have the phone are impressed by the screen size, but are still pointing out that it is quite heavy compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

iPhone 11 Pro Max Display

The iPhone 11 Pro Max is having a 6.5-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display (2688x1242, 60Hz) with 458 PPI and 800 nits brightness (1200 nits peak). Plus, it covers ~82% DCI-P3 which is truly remarkable. The phone is almost twice as big as the iPhone 11 Pro, but it misses the advanced ProMotion technology. Many of the owners appreciate the high clarity but at the same time, they criticize that there is no 120Hz refresh rate.

Performance and Software

Running the A13 Bionic chip (6-core CPU, 4-core GPU, 8-core Neural Engine), the iPhone 11 Pro Max is also a phone with 4GB RAM and it is on iOS 13 OS with a chance of getting iOS 18. Same as the regular model, it supports Apple Pay and Siri. No user is in doubt about the phone’s performance, but they can’t help noting Siri’s lack of on-device processing.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max features a triple 12MP rear camera system (wide f/1.8, ultra-wide f/2.4, telephoto f/2.0) with Night mode and 4K video at 60fps. The front 12MP TrueDepth camera supports Face ID and 4K video. Users praise its camera quality but note no Cinematic mode unlike the iPhone 13 Pro Max.

The iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 3969mAh battery, offering up to 20 hours of video playback. It supports 18W fast charging (0–50% in ~30min) and wireless charging. Real-world use yields 17–19 hours. Users praise its long battery life but note no MagSafe compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

People who have purchased the iPhone 11 Pro Max say that no other phone can beat its connectivity but at the same time, they castigate the absence of the 5G signal feature as compared to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

Pricing and Availability

Upon launching, the iPhone 11 Pro Max could be obtained from Apple and other suppliers at a price of $1099 for the version with 64GB of storage on the 20th of September, 2019. Newer models with more storage (256GB, 512GB) were also available for purchase at higher prices of $1249 and $1449. That model was no longer in production in 2020 but second-hand products are sold for about $400–$600. Users are satisfied with the battery life of their devices and at the same time don’t like the phone for the 5G feature they will prefer the iPhone 12 Pro Max.
