The iPhone 15 Pro Max comes in a premium yet lightweight design that is made from aerospace-grade titanium, a material which Apple has never used before, and this leads to a strong but lighter build in comparison to the prior stainless steel models. Its dimensions stand at 6.29 x 3.02 x 0.32 inches (159.9 x 76.7 x 8.25 mm) while its weight is 7.81 ounces (221g), which means that it’s a lot less bulky than the iPhone 14 Pro Max. It is available in four titanium finishes, including Black Titanium, White Titanium, Blue Titanium, and Natural Titanium, and it brings elegance with it. The silence button on the phone has been replaced by a fully customizable Action Button, which can be used for quick access to a range of functions like the camera, flashlight, or Voice Memos. It also offers a USB-C connector, which is in line with the standards of the industry and is compatible with the dual eSIM technology, thus doing away with a physical SIM slot.

iPhone 15 Pro Max Display

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is the newest 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display with a 2796 x 1290 resolution that has 460 PPI, making sure all colors are clearly represented and the text is always readable for the HDR10 and Dolby Vision content. It has a ProMotion feature that varies the refresh rates up to 120Hz quickly for incredibly smooth scrolling and animations, as well as an Always-On display, which is visible at any time. Its highest brightness level of 1000 nits typical, 1600 nits peak for HDR, and 2000 nits peak outdoor brightness easily outperforms the rest of the market. Performance and Software

The iPhone 15 Pro Max is equipped with an A17 Pro chip, which is Apple's first-ever 3nm processor. It has six CPU cores (2 performance, 4 efficiency cores), six GPU cores, and a 16-core Neural Engine. The device provides up to 10% better CPU performance and 20% better GPU performance than the A16 Bionic. It also includes hardware-accelerated ray tracing that enables console-quality gaming. With 8GB of RAM, it can handle several tasks simultaneously and play high-quality games like Resident Evil 4 and Apple A.I. characteristics. It is initially running on iOS 17, which can be upgraded to iOS 18.4, ensuring at least five years of software updates through 2028.

Camera System

It should be mentioned that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is basically a three-in-one collection of 48MP Main (f/1.78, 24mm, second-generation sensor-shift OIS), 12MP Ultra Wide (f/2.2, 13mm, 120° FOV), and 12MP Telephoto Hyperfocal cameras with 5x optical zoom (f/2.8, 120mm, tetraprism design). The device's selfie camera is a 12MP TrueDepth (f/1.9) and has Face ID and autofocus. The system also offers 24MP and 48MP ultra-high-resolution photos, Night mode, Portrait mode with LiDAR, and 4K Dolby Vision video at 60 fps. Pricing and Availability

For 256GB storage, the iPhone 15 Pro Max will cost you from $1,199, and from there, the price goes up to $1,399 for 512GB and $1,599 for 1 TB. The earliest pre-orders were live on September 15, 2023, and shipments commenced on September 22, 2023, from Apple, AT&T and Verizon carriers, and other retailers. The phone was officially discontinued on September 9, 2024, and it was the iPhone 16 Pro Max announcement event when the phone was mentioned again.
