It has a Dynamic Island feature that makes it more interactive, while the display is capable of producing 1000 nits of brightness (typical), 1600 nits (HDR), and 2000 nits (outdoor), which guarantees clear visibility even in direct sunlight. Nonetheless, the 60Hz refresh rate stays on the lower side when other competitors are offering a higher 90Hz or 120Hz at the same price.

Camera System

The iPhone 16 Plus introduces a dual-camera system that is composed of a 48MP Fusion main camera (f/1.6, 26mm, optical image stabilization) and a 12MP ultra-wide camera (f/2.2, 13mm, autofocus). The main camera can produce 24MP and 48MP images, besides a 2x in-sensor zoom (52mm), while the ultra-wide is for macro photos and Apple Vision Pro spatial video. The iPhone 16 Plus is now listed with 128GB for $899, with 256GB for $999 and 512GB for $1199. The first order took place on September 13, 2024, and thus sales also started a week later, on September 20, 2024, from Apple directly, and via carriers such as Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile, or retailers such as Best Buy. With the Trade In program, Apple offers a trade-in range of $45–$630 for select devices, and carriers usually provide free or discounted models when customers trade in their existing devices and sign up for unlimited plans.
