The iPhone 6 Plus is 7.1mm thin and has a weight of 172g with an aluminum case. The wide choice of its colors, Space Gray, Silver, or Gold, is good for everyone while the display size is 5.5 inches. Moreover, the phone is not certified to be water and dust-resistant. The users it is more comfortable for them to use a larger display and at the same time they feel the weight and fragile nature of the iPhone 6s Plus.

iPhone 6 Plus Display

Performance and Software

The A8 chip (64-bit dual-core 1.4GHz) is the main element of the iPhone 6 Plus that is coupled with 1GB of RAM and a choice of 16GB, 64GB, or 128GB of storage. The OS on this device is the iOS 8 (upgradeable to iOS 12). Moreover, the iPhone provides Siri and Apple Pay. The users are of the opinion that it is good due to its swiftness and advanced features but admit that the iPhone 6s Plus is better.

Connectivity

Through Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac), 4.0 Bluetooth, LTE (up to 150 Mbps), and Apple Pay, the iPhone 6 Plus is interconnected. GPS (GPS, GLONASS) and a 3.5mm headphone jack are integrated into it. The connectivity concept is fully agreed on by the users though a complaint from several is the slower LTE and the absence of Wi-Fi 6 (as in the iPhone 6s Plus).

Pricing and Availability

The iPhone 6 Plus was launched on September 19, 2014, in the 16GB option for $749 and was sold in the Apple store and other retailers at the same time. The customers could also get 64GB and 128GB instead of 16GB of this mobile phone at the prices of $849 and $949. Besides, the discontinuation of the model is in 2016, and the renewed registrations are between $90 and $150. The customers appreciate the large screen but still, the better performance of the iPhone 6s Plus is more preferred.
