The S20 Plus by Samsung is designed with a premium look and a sleek, stylish appearance. The front and back are protected by tough Gorilla Glass 6 and the device is housed in an aluminum frame, so it is stylish and tough. The phone measures 6.42 inches long, 2.99 inches wide and 0.31 inches thick and weighs just 6.56 ounces, so it’s not too big to use comfortably. You can get Galaxy S22 in Cosmic Black, Cosmic Grey or Cloud Blue, with their matte finish reducing the number of fingerprints. To lower prices, the S20 Plus lacks mmWave 5G in particular regions, using regular 5G or sub-6 GHz for data speed. Its battery can be charged quickly via wireless charging at 15W and it’s Qi-certified, though some third-party cases may be necessary for using accessories. With the home button gone, users can use modern full-screen navigation and face recognition thanks to the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor.

Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus Display

The Galaxy S20 Plus has a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that gives brilliant colors and dark blacks for all your HDR movies and TV shows. Compared to budget models, this phone can display 120 animations and scrolling frames every second. Since it can achieve a brightness of 1200 nits, it stays easy to spot in bright sunshine. Instead of a notch, the display design lets you see more of the display with its punch-hole front camera.

With a refresh rate of 120Hz, you will notice better gaming and navigation, but you don’t get the Always-On Display feature that newer ones have. Analysts say the display is very clear and true to color, but they observe that even if the punch-hole is less noticeable than a notch, it’s still visible when watching videos.

Software and Processor

Customers receive outstanding results because the S20 Plus is fitted with the Exynos 990 (or Snapdragon 865, depending on the region) and 8GB of RAM. Its processor runs 60% faster than the one in the Galaxy S10, so you can use it for gaming and multitasking, as well as using Bixby features. There are 128GB of storage available on the device. With Android 10 and One UI 2.5 pre-installed and new Android 13 available for an upgrade, there are at the bare minimum 3 years of updates for the OS and a further 4 years for security updates.

Pairing the Exynos 990/Snapdragon 865 with the X55 modem results in great both efficiency and 5G connection. Some people experience Wi-Fi connection issues on occasion that can be solved after the software is updated.

Camera System

On the S20 Plus, there are three cameras, including a 12MP main, a 64MP telephoto and a 12MP ultra-wide. You get a 10MP (f/2.2) front camera with an automated focusing system. The camera handles video at 8K 24fps, 4K 60fps and has special functions like Single Take and Night Mode.

Battery Specifications

The 4500mAh battery gives the S20 Plus the ability to play back videos for up to 24 hours, making it 4 hours longer than the S10. Actual use shows the device working for near 18 hours straight. You can use 25W for wired charging (half the full charge in 30 minutes) or 15W for wireless charging.

On March 6, 2020, the Galaxy S20 Plus was launched for a price of $999 for 128GB. You can buy the phone directly from Samsung or from major carriers such as Verizon and T-Mobile, as well as from retailers everywhere. You can receive credits if you trade in your old device.
