This screen has 1750 nits to make it easily visible outside in bright sunlight. The phone’s smooth responsiveness from the 120Hz refresh rate is excellent, except that it doesn’t offer customization for the Always-On Display.

Camera System

The S22+ includes three cameras, a 50MP main (f/1.8, 23mm, OIS), a 12MP ultra-wide (f/2.2, 13mm) and a 10MP telephoto (3x, f/2.4). The front camera has autofocus and is a 10MP shooter with a f/2.2 aperture. The device can shoot 8K at 24fps and 4K at 60fps using the Super Steady feature. Both Night and Portrait Modes produce good shots, yet the phone cannot take macro photos.
